The Violence The Violence

DOOM RIBBONS began in the late 90’s as the solo project of vocalist/multi-instrumentalist James Owen.  Parish joined Owen in 2008 and over the course of three years they produced “The Violence The Violence”, a haunting dreamscape of fire and brimstone and angels and demons.  Ethereal wisps of golden melody float over a churning distant backdrop of apocalyptic proportions. Though it was produced on a shoe-string, the album is symphonic and massive in its scope, lush and beautiful, intense and transportive.  A concept album with many layers, it holds many secrets to be revealed.
